Design

Since graduating from De Montfort University in 2009, I have built a strong and varied foundation in commercial design, having worked in a wide variety of departments including Ladies Nightwear, Loungewear, Lingerie, Essentials and Swimwear. I am also experienced in Mens and Kids nightwear. Clients have included Matalan, Norlanka Manufacturing, Studio, GWG Sleepwear, Bravissimo and Small & Awesome kids wear. My years in fashion allowed me to travel all over the world, from bases in both the UK and Sri Lanka.

I can help you with all aspects of the design process, from mood boards and trend concepts, creative and technical garment design, to print creation and technical specifications.

I have experience of working on prints and surface pattern for a variety of final uses, not just clothing, but also for textiles, accessories and homewares. I can create placement graphics, character design, slogan prints and repeating all over patterns.
